triple recto 2 channel advice

so were there different types of 2 channels? i'm going to look at a 2 channel triple rec this weekend. anything specific i should look for? do the power tubes match up the same as the 3 channel? What tubes are recommended for the 2 channel?

^ Just saw this post, there was one 2 ch triple recto but it spanned over 2 revisions, F and G.
You can use whatever tubes you wish but for my style I like 6L6 power tubes and a mix of preamp tubes

Currently in my 2 ch triple:
Mesa 6L6gc STR 400 power tubes

V1 - Tung-Sol 12AX7
V2 -Shugaung 12AX7B (lower noise and more gain then their "A" counterparts)
V3 -Shugaung 12AX7B
V4 -Shugaung 12AX7B
V5 -JJ ECC83s

My most aggressive tones out of it to date.
