I hear alot of guys on here saying different ways to tighten up rectifiers and thought id share one. I knew that pat obrien and other Florida metal guys used metalzones w/ their rec's, but trying to find someone who post's their settings is about impossible. guitar-metalzone as volume boost[volume max/all eq to middle/ gain barely above zero}-hush super c{starting left to right with amp on adjust knobs till you just hear them start to work-dbx 166xl fine tune to get rid of that last little bit of hum. Ive had my stock triple for a couple of years now and this hands down works awesome. Totally tightens up the bottom, but doesnt ruin your tone or cut notes off short. You cant even tell my amp is on until I start to play.Ive got it paired up with a mark v and it just sounds amazing. For whatever reason there is alot of hate for the mt-2, but dont use its distortion, just use it to boost the signal out of your guitar-

Metalzone as a boost into a Rec is known to be a good combination for death metal tones. I've tried it and it definitely took the amp into that territory for sure. :D
