Up for sale is a Mesa BoogieTriple Rectifier, Revision G (Serial Nr. 4870), in the highly rare and sought after blackface/chrome chassis configuration. Good rectifiers from the early days are already very rare and hard to find today. This one comes with the even rarer black front panel. This variant of the Triple Rectifier can be found in the Metallica Rehearsals to St.Anger.
The amp is in fantastic condition for its age. With the legendary black diamond plate and chrome chassis you've got one of the coolest configurations available. The amp is fully functional, and in very good shape for its age. There are no major tears or gashes, as you can see in the pictures.
Revision G is the classic Rectifier sound that most of us think of when referencing the Rectifier Series: big, robust low end with loads of gain and volume to back it up. Used by a wide variety of artists such as Rollins Band, Sublime, Soundgarden, 311, Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters and No Use For A Name.
incl. Flightcase and transformer for european voltage
