Triple Rec Prob

I have a triple rec 2 channel. When I play once in awhile it will have a fairly big volume boost for about 2seconds. I have no clue what the problem could be. It only happens maybe once every 10 minutes but it's enough for it to be a problem at a gig. any help would be appreciated

check to see that your power tubes are all in working order. replace them one at a time. There's 6 of them so its a pain in the bum...but thats my guess.
