Triaxis, no output at all from LD1 Red? HELP!

Hi all, recently bought a Triaxis v2, all seems to work well except LD1 red mode, I cant get any level out of this channel at all?
even with the gain on 10, LD1 drive on 10 and master on 10

strange thing is if I raise LD2 drive I do get a small signal to come through but not much and it doesn't sound too good

I have swapped out all of the tubes for a new batch, still no sound from LD1 red

same problem from with the 'Record' outputs too, I even tried the effects send output, still nothing?

all other modes working just fine

any ideas?
am I missing something obvious?
