Triaxis Midi Problem

I have a Mark 1 Triaxis serial no T0542 non phatt and intellifex LTD running through the fx loop. I can't get the intellifex to change presets with the triaxis. I tried using the Triaxis editor on the laptop and if i go out of the laptop into triaxis and put the intellifex in the thru of triaxis it scrolls fine. I used to have the phatt mod version triaxis and it was simply a case of going out triaxis into intellifex and selecting the midi channel. Any ideas anyone?

Set the Intellifex Midi Channel to Omni, go from Midi-Board to Intellifex Midi In and from Intellifex Midi Out to Triaxis Midi In...

Thanx Triaxstasy..... thats just it, i don't want to have to use the midi board.... i just want to step through the programmes and presets using my fingers not my feet.... ha ha... on my old triaxis (which got nicked) it was simply a case of.... out triaxis in intellifex set channel and away to go..... i'm just wondering if it is because this triaxis is so old.

It sounds like an issue with the Intelliflex or your MIDI cable. Can you get a different device and a different cable for testing purposes? Try something like a Boss GT6/8/10 type pedal with a fresh cable. My guess is that your Triaxis is fine but something is either set wrong (MIDI channel) or the cable is faulty.

You could also try using the Triaxis as your controller and use the MIDI out to control your Intelliflex. I'm sure you can map to whatever effect you want within the IFlex.

Thanks Ando..... yea tried all that..... as i said.... it works fine from the laptop using editing software with the out from the computer in on the tri and the intellifex on the thru of the tri.... just when i try the tri and intellifex or intellifex and tri....weird!

sounds more like neither the Triaxis nor the Intellifex are sending any Midi (while the receiving seems to work > Laptop....)

But: Are they supposed to send anything via Midi?!?
IIRC the Midi Outs on both units are more or less like Thrus, just sending/*amplifying* what´s being Midi-wise in the Midi Ins :?: :!: :?:
