If you are using the Triaxis and G-System this question is certainly for you.

I am purchasing a Triaxis in a few weeks and I really want to use it in stereo. I have a question regarding the use of a G-System with the Triaxis. After reading the manuals that are provided online, I think the G-System can only be hooked up in stereo with the Triaxis like this: Triaxis FX Loop Send to the G-System Input and then from the L & R Outputs on the G-System back to the FX A & B Return. Since the G-System does not have L & R inputs only the guitar input, then I am assuming that I use the G-System guitar input or the G-System Insert Return as my connection to the Triaxis FX Loop Send, then I get back a stereo effects via the L & R outputs from the G-System into the FX Return.

Is that wiring correct or is there another way that I am missing?

I got this connection diagram from someone over on the TC Electronic Forum. I want to use the recording outputs and the main outputs so this was the connection suggestion.

If you want to use both the recording outputs and the main outputs and have the FX applied to both, then you can wire as follows:

1) Guitar --> G-System In
2) G-System insert Send --> Triaxis in
3) Triaxis FX Send --> G-System insert return
4) G-System Out Left & Right--> Triaxis Return A & B.
5) Triaxis Outputs for amps and Recording will have all effects

This configuration has the advantage of placing pedals and pre-gain FX (compressor, filter, etc.) before any gain stages while placing time-based FX (modulation, reverb, delay) after the preamp where they tend to sound best.

Sounds completely reasonable and logical to me, what do you all think of this connection suggestion?

Go to Yahoo Groups and search TriAxis. Join that group and ask and you'll get a lot more information there in less time than you will here. I'll see you there :)
