All,

Need some advice. I have a triaxis 2 and I replaced all the tubes. the problems started.

1. the lead one voices all went dead. silence. after swapping around tubes here there and everywhere I seem to have got that working now. and then..

2. as the subject says. my triaxis had a wobbler. all dials froze at 2.0 when i turned it on. preset and program where black and sometimes flashing random numbers. power off, power on, power off, power on, wax off, wax on. no change..

3. FIX (not really a fix but) unracked it and put it on my desk to prep it to send back to the shop for repair. an hour later when i went to box it I decided to plug it in once more. it worked. but it had reset itself to the factory defaults (I lost all my settings)

So it works now and that is... a very good thing... but i would like to know why it happened? I don't have that warm fuzzy feeling yet that the triaxis is "solid" Has anyone had this problem before? If so is there a known cause(s) and is there a known fix? More than anything I want to ensure it doesn't happen again or if it does happen again what I should do to resolve the issue.

In advance thanks for your advice.

Maybe your battery is dead.

The only time the TA reset on me is when I pressed a certain sequence of buttons while programming.

I would check the battery.

naruhodo....

Actualy the guts of the triaxis are new.. new as in only a few weeks old. of course that doesnt mean that just becuase the guts are new that they had not been sitting around for a long time or the battery was bum to start with so Ill look into that.

thanks.

What is the serial number?

Maybe it's a power issue. What is the voltage of the TA 117? 100?

Other than what I mentioned I have never had a computer malfunction. Did you buy the TA new?
