Triaxis 7 pin midi cable

Hey guys,

if I am not planning to use phantom power from the triaxis can i then use a 5 pin midi cable in the 7 pin midi input of triaxis? My midi Hook up will be like this,

Ground control pro(which is 5 pin) into voodoo labs GCX(also 5 pin) from trhu into G major and then thru ino Triaxis

I cannot use a 7 pin midi cable in any situation here as everything I just listed takes only 5 pin

yes, you can use 5 pins midi cables with Triaxis, even on midi input.
