Hello folks, been a while.
I got a new guitar last month (Gibson Lespaul Vintage Mahogany Studio) but my 2:90 has been broken/in repair since then. I got it back today and tested my new guitar through it.

I'm in love with how thick this thing sounds.

Triaxis/2:90 forever! :)

I've heard this riff before from a guy who wanted to show off his Mark IV tones. Couldn't remember the URL. What song did you take it from? Thanks.

It's my song. I had a mark IV once and recorded this song on that too. So it's probably (hopefully) me. (I don't see why anyone wanna steal this riff from me lol)

Lemme see if i can find my link.

I like my triaxis tone way better though hehe.

Both sound good, though I liked the Mark IV clip better.

I am a Triaxis and Dual Rectifier 2 channel owner myself and usually blend the two.

I have to disagree  . Great riff. Your clip was one of the reasons I decided to jump on my Mark IV. Thanks.

That's very cool to hear.
Mark IV is my second most favorite amp of all time.
I own my most favorite at the moment 8)

Wish I had enough money to own Triaxis + Mark IV + Rectifier
All very cool amps and I had the pleasure to own them all at some point.

Please post your settings on the TRIAXIS and 2:90. Also what cab are you playing thru? Thanks , Mike :D

Lead1 Red

Gain Treble Middle Bass L1Drive Master Prescence Dynamic Voice
7.0----5.0-----7.5---0.0----1.0------6.0------4.0-----------2.0

2:90 = Prescence is 12 o'clock
Deep on
1/2 off
Modern on

If you don't have a 2:90 I wouldn't bother with these settings though cause 2:90's deep and modern mode's change the tone like it's night and day.

Cab is 2x12 Avatar loaded with Celestion Classic Lead 80's. These speakers are like day and night from V30's too so I wouldn't be suprised if you get a very different tone if you're using V30's.

You just gotta be patient with the triaxis...

AND YOU GOTTA HAVE A 2:90 WITH IT

;)

Thanks bro. I will try out your settings tomorrow. Take care, Mike :D

PS: Lead 1 RED is my favorite

Same here.
It's also a VERY versatile channel. I can get very smooth sounds as well as hairy sounds. I can get it saggy and huge and I can get it very dry and raw. I love that channel.
