Does anyone hook their rackmount or other tuner up to the record out jack on the Triaxis like the manual shows? I'd like to run my rack mount (it's an old Boss) tuner on mute and I wonder if I could us that function for it. I used to have a cutoff switch on the footboard for my GP8 (old I know) but the switch stopped working as the board is well...old lol.

In general, how do you guys run a rack mount tuner and have it muted when you tune? I've always done it with my GP8 but that's not an option anymore.

Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks man! That's how I have it set up now. The problem is I want it muted when I tune.

I don't have a great answer for you but what about these couple of ideas....
- Use MIDI to activate the FX loop on the Triaxis to mute it, or change to a patch with it turned all the way down.
- Use a stompbox tuner. Either right after the guitar (this would be used instead of the rack tuner I guess because no signal would get to your rack tuner), or if you have an FX loop running to your board put that tuner there and turn it on to mute it. Then you can go to the rack tuner.
- Maybe fabricate a mute switch. Make a switch and stick it on your rack that cuts the signal where it needs to be cut.

I am just trying to brain storm. I would imagine that there is a pedal just for muting out there, but I just use my Boss TU-2 for muting.
