I read peoples thoughts and questions in here about how things sound this way and that. Maybe something that is bothering them or even possibly wrong with their amp. When it comes right down to it, isn’t it cool to have the ability to play and express what you hear in your head? I have had many amps in my 40+ years of playing but since I have gotten familiar with my Mark V I am having a great time playing using all the different tones/sounds and textures. I don’t think I have sounded exactly the same on any night. Change this and change that, add a little more drive, push the mids a little or make things sound very dark. I have never heard one complaint or even another musician tell me that I need to do this or that was too much of something.
Just a very cool amp and it is kinda neat when you setup and anybody that knows anything about amplifiers knows that the Mesa Mark V you just put on the stage is one kick a$$ amp.
Maybe I have a superiority complex, maybe. But… Can hear me now? I think so.
