Tone difference in Mark IV heads?

Hi guys,

Are there differences in shortheads medium heads, blah in the Mark IV tone?

I'm wanting to buy a MK IV head - I need to know if the size matters in the tone.

For Mark IV's size does not matter. Same stuff, bigger box.


That said, there is a Version A (early 90's) and Version B (late 90's-2008) of the Mark IV. The tone varies between the two. See the sticky Mark IV tread for more info.

Hopefully I'll get my Mark IV and 2x12 recto cab soon.
