I know this doesn't belong in this forum since it's not a Mesa but I think I got it close to a recto sound in seconds after I plugged in :)

Either that, or I sound same through every amp.

On to the amp,

WHAT an amazing little monster.

Either I'm tone deaf or I can get it to sound like a recto! And trust me I've owned almost every recto out there.

It's hard to not plug in and play every 10 mins!

You can get very good cleans too!

Here's some pics and a crappy vid.

I got to record one of my songs with it. Here's a very small portion of it. Guitars only (sorry). http://www.mediafire.com/?7tt1ndjzxdl

I recorded the same song with my 2 channel recto 2 days ago but since then I upgraded some parts and recorded it with a crappy SS marshall not to forget it. I then deleted the recto version. I wish I still had it so we could compare (maybe my drummer has it still. I'll ask him)

It's gonna be easier to wait for my Roadster now :D

Definitely a sweet amp. Plug it into a 1x12, set it to 15 watts. Volume to max, tone at 12oclock, gain to 3 o clock...

Tonal bliss 8)

Even better if you run a boost and compressor out front.

Ah you don't need an FX loop man.. there is beauty in simplicity. This little lunch box is a menace on its own.

Also true. There's something very beautiful about Guitar -> High quality cable -> TT -> Cab

:D

Nice pics.

That's a sweet little amp. If I didn't have my Tiny Tone I'd probably pick on up.

Nice clips!
ok i think you have pushed my over the edge! :D
I have been going back and forth all summer on picking up one of these amps.
I just finally dailed my Mark IV and Recto pre in and now it is time to pick up a Tiny Terror.lol

I read that if you can find a Korea built Timy Terror (older production) buy that over the Chinese built.
Has anyone heard or know anything about this?

Man, I need to check one of those out! There's actually a small dealer in my town, so I'll have to go see if he has one.

Man it smells like urban legend to be honest. I'd just get one you find. I think Chinese ones are pretty hard to find anyway. I really don't think it matters.

Us guitar players are retards who manufacture lies about versions of amps and hear differences that are not there :)

Might be true. When I bought my first Tiny Terror, the power tube sockets were loose and it produced a horrible squealing sound. I took it in and the guys at Long & McQuade switched all tubes twice and it was still happening, so they just gave me a new one.

Also, when I bought my Orange 1x12 cab, the first one had a broken input jack so I had to get a new one of those as well.

Chinese made Orange = shiet. I hope their high-end heads are made in England.

I was referring to tone only.

I have no idea about build quality comparision.

In anyway, TT is cool as hell. I'll do my best to keep it but it's gonna be hard after Roadster gets here and I start craving for a G System :D We'll see....

wow that's a cool tone, LnTh! I really really liked it! please record some more clips!
