Well over the weekend, I sold my Mark IV and picked up a Triaxis 2.0. Wow, this preamp is a beast! Right now I am running it with an ADA Micro Tube 200… as I look for a 2:90. This setup works surprisingly well… so while I do want the 2:90, it’s not an urgent matter just yet.

So far I have been able to dial in some really killer tones. I’m so happy that I took this plunge. If anyone has any recommended settings, I’m all ears.

Have you checked it with the band yet?

What I hated the most about the TA is that what sounded good in my bedroom sounded like crap in the mix, and vice-versa.

I actually have my main crunch tone sounding just like my Mark IV. So I'm not too worried about the band situation. The fact that I'm the only guitarist in the band helps too.

Welcome to tone heaven :D

Picked up a second hand Triaxis v2.0 last week and I'm having a blast. So far I've only been able to hook it up to my pod xt and use the speaker simulation from it, but even that sounds amazing. I'm saving up to get the 2:90, but it's expensive where I live :?

Welcome aboard,

I too just sold my Mark IV (great amp), preferring to just use my Triaxis -- as I have finally mastered that beast ...after many years of trial and error.
