Well, after a few months of research on which components would work best for my application… and a few more months of putting it all together one little rack unit at a time, it’s finally done. I’m really happy with the tones and how it all works together. Now I just need some roadies to lug the damn thing… lol!

3U Rack Drawer
Furman Power Conditioner
Lexicon MPX 200
T.C. Electronic G*Major
Mesa/Boogie Mark IV

cool man ... i am going to have a very similar setup to you when i am done putting everything together. mine will just be a little bit smaller with the 10 space rack and the 2x12 cab ;) . i just got a rocktron intellifex LTD effects processor. an d yeah , i understand about needing a roadie, i can barely lift my rack with just the mark iv in it , and i have to bring it up a flight of stairs to my apartment

What happened to the Savage Animal? logo?

The Savage Evolution logo had to come off. While SE is my main band, I've picked up a blues gig where my stuff has to blend into the background. A huge logo just doesn't do that. :) I think it looks cleaner without the logo anyway.

dude can you explain to me how you have the two fx racks running and how you control them...i use a mk iv to and i am thinking of getting a rack of some sort..G system or major ///wat does the lexicon do?

Thanks Tom

The Lexicon is mainly there for backup. In case the TC ever went down. It's a nice basic unit. The verbs sound really good on it. The G*Major is a really nice unit. I'm still working on getting the Chorus to sound like I want it to though.

it is definitely possible to have 2 FX processors going at the same time and controlled by the same foot pedal. You just have to assign a separate MIDI channel to each unit, and you need a MIDI pedal that can send messages on multiple channels at one time. I have a rocktron MIDI mate pedal, which can send i think 4 or 5 messages at one time in "programmable patches" mode. I just go to the menu on the pedal and select which device and what program # it needs to be on for my patch, for each device I want to control at one time. right now i am just controlling my amp channels and one effects processor at the same time. I have the midi out from my midimate pedal going to the MIDI in of my axess electronics CFX4, then the MIDI thru of the CFX4 going to the MIDI in of the fx processor.
