I've learned a lesson over the years,no one amp straight in will ever do it for me,so I either buy something to doctor it up for the tones I need or I buy every amp out there.Mesa is a natural sound,but it's their own natural sound,just like everyone else has.If you like the DSL50's tone better then get her,cuz you aren't going to be happy until you find your tone,I had my reservations on my F-100 also when I first got it.After experimenting with it though,it stays.
