tell me all there is to know about mark IIIC+ mods.

i have a mark III green stripe.
even though i'm very happy with it, i'm very curious about all this talk about modding III's to be "closer" to the c+'s.

so tell me what i need to know...
how close do they get? is it expensive? what does it involve? what kind of changes will i hear from stock?

MB can do a 3+ mod to it for $200 - $250 I cant compare it as I have not heard any other version but oh it sounds good

I live in the UK so sending it to USA is out of the question, can the mods be done by Mesa in the UK ?

Hi Jim,

If you trust in anything, save your money. The Green Stripe pentode wiring gives the MK III that IIC+ 105 type feeling. It's so close it's disturbing.
