Ciao, probabilmente puoi anche montarlo, calcola pero' che il ricambio originale non costa una cifra tanto diversa, pero' hai un trasformatore nuovo di cui puoi essere certo che funzionera' e che andra' bene col tuo ampli...

Power transformer won't give you any additional dynamics, and if you don't do the job properly you risk to blow the amp. You'd better try changing tubes.
