Studio 22+ clean channel problem

Finding it tough to get a good clean channel out of my Studio 22+.

Anything with the master above 1 is distorted (even at low volumes).....

Any ideas out there?

I was thinking about a failing capactior on the input stage or possibly an LDR not switching properly so getting lead channel bleed though?

Any thoughts / help appreciated before I start my diagnosis!

Yup, changed all the tubes already.

Unfortunately, I think it sounds a little more involved.....

Yup...same thing was happening on my old 22+ when I had it (2 years ago).
Took it to my tech and $100 and a week later it was simply dynamite!!!! :twisted:
I believe all he did was a basic cap job....all these 22's are getting to need some TLC now because of their age, but they're awesome little rock machines!!! Try one w/ a 4 x 12 and be ready!!!! :mrgreen:
