Strange red channel behavior

I've got a two channel DR.

The orange channel work fine. On the red channel, the bass and mid controls seem to have no effect (regardless of gain and treble settings); the treble works like a volume control... when the treble goes down, there's no volume at all.

The bass pot seems a little loose. When I put pressure on it or move it around, the tone seems to marginally fade in or out at times.

Any ideas or suggestions before I take it to a pro?

did you just notice this happening? did you just recently accquire this amp?

I just recently acquired the amp, but this problem occured after I got it.

I may possibly have overdriven the pre while playing with an fx pedal.

Another possible culprit is that I cleaned a bunch of dust and garbage off the top of the chassis (and remove the tubes to do it). I was trying to make sure I didn't let debris go in the chassis, but perhaps something slipped thru.
