hey!

i'm showing interest in the marks lately! i really totally love my stiletto: it gives me a perfect clean and some really nice overdrives. but than i've heard some great clips of the mark IV here (especially the dream theater clips some of you made)

well which one do you like more. and what channel on the stiletto fits it the most?

this will probably dicide if i become an mark brother or i'm gonna stick with my stiletto

thanks guys

Well, do you like fat chicks or skinny chicks? One can argue that it is all pink on the inside and functionally the same but I assure you, they are completely different beasts all together...

We can't help you if you don't work with us on this....

hey guys sorry for my late reaction,

i like fat tones, but not as fat as the rectifier series.

I prefer something that cuts through the mix... The MKIV didn't really have a crunch to me... more of a rubbery thing going on. R2 = Rubber Channel Too round soundings....like a dull knife. The Stiletto crunch modes to me are a bit too brittle and sharp. I prefer the Tite Gain mode with the guitar volume rolled off. R2 with a TS808 or similar pedal to boost the mids helps though

Sounds so much better with a bigger 2x12 Cab like a Bogner Over-sized 2x12 (or Avatar).

The Stiletto 2x12 is a bit bright sounding......
