Stiletto Trident: Which Tubes Are Used In 50w Mode?

I want to try different power tubes in my Trident. However, I don't have six! So I thought I'd try two in the slots where the two 50w mode tubes work. Are they on the outside? Inside?

I have no clue...best bet is probably to call Mesa and ask just to be sure. Let us know which tubes you try and what you think of them! 8)

they go like this 123321 . well i know the duece is like this 1221 so... Best way to tell is to look. You will see in 50 mode whcih tubes are burning brighter as thats how i found out.

I have this same question as I want to run some higher quality tubes for only 50 watts... six tubes is just to much $$ to spend.
