Ive changed my mind on my sound, again. Unfortuntately i got bit by the roadster bug and now want one of those, so that means the Stiletto will have to be sacrificed in order to procure such a monster. It's just about 1 year old with a little over 4 years remaining on factory warranty. No issues with it and it is a killer sounding amp, but I like the recto sound more lately. Still original factory tubes in it, never been gigged with or played in bars. mostly stayed in my homes in WY and MT. I do have the original box it came in for shipping, so any buyer interested, it would be shipped in that crate and it is well padded. i'd like to get $1500 for it, but I am willing to go a bit lower on it and reasonable offers will be considered. If it sells, cool. If it doesn't sell, that's cool too.

I forgot to mention that this amp goes to "11" and will also make playing the "may I help you riff" sound other-worldly.

Actually it doesn't go to 11, but I just wanted to bump the post shamelessly. It will make you sound awesome though.

Aw shucks.....
was just about to offer you my Ferrari in trade for it......

NOT!

Seriously, glad you sold it so quick. Hope you like that Roadster, but were you able to find one right away or did you have to order it? Or maybe you found a used one...... :)

It did sell pretty quickly and I came down on the price, so I guess that helped. i know of a place about 2 hours from home where I can get a combo Roadster, but still on the fence if I want that or not.

Well I went a different route today. Called a shop in another city 2 hours away looking for some mesa products. The guy there told me had a had a Mark IV head of his own for sale, was originally going to buy another Stiletto, but it was a Trident stage II, but the Mark came up in conversation, so i snagged that instead. I'll be procuring said amp tomorrow, can't wait.

Well...did you get it? How is it? How's it compare to the Stiletto or Roadster?

Don't keep us hanging  ....let us know....
:D

i went with the Mark IV. Well so far so good. I'm really digging it. The clean sounds are beautiful although I haven't completely dug into yet to really fine tune it, still in the honeymoon stage. The dirt channels are very unique. R2 has a nice purr to it and can get pretty ballsy if you work the eq's a bit. Lead channel completely smokes everything. I really like the graphic EQ function on this thing. So far what I've been doing is setting it with about the classic V pattern and then working the channel Eq's around it while leaving the EQ on full time. I have it set so it's actually kind of flat and not such a dramatic change if when I switch the EQ off and on. The effects loop works like a champ, without having to do much than plug and play and add my effects. Mostly I'm just using delay, chorus and verb on R1 channel and leaving that loop function on assigned to that channel, then when I want delays or other effects in the other 2 channels I can switch it on. Lots of features on it and lots of tweaking time. Can't really compare it to the Roadster, but I really liked the Stiletto and it's like comparing apples to oranges so it wouldn't be fair to make comparisons yet. This amp actually has been traded around 4 different guys now and still going strong. The very original owner is one of our local guitar gurus and just dumb-luck actually that I wound up with yet another one of his old pieces of gear.
