Thinking about getting one. How well do they sound (Ive never played through one) with Mesa Boogie Rectifiers and other amps for that matter? Found one online for sale used, but cant find one in my area to play through. Thanks

The sound is entirely dependant on the speakers in the cab. The cab itself is a Marshall knockoff.

Well he said the cab is loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's and G12T75's in an x pattern. And that the cab is supposed to be based off the Bogner Uberkab.

Normally, judging by their website, they load those cabs with Eminence Speakers, and to me they always sound a little muffled and very midrangy (I just am not impressed with Eminence in Splawn or Krank cabs). The cab's construction looks very nice, a quality product for sure and if it has that x pattern in it, it would probably sound really good. I would probably go for straight V30's, but I'm a little partial to them myself.

Yea, Im not real big with Eminence speakers as well. As you said, they're very midrangy, almost honky sounding to my ears...IMHO. But I would have no idea as to what they would sound like in X pattern. But I don't want to drive a long distance to find out that I dont like the way the cab sounds, so I guess I'll stick to my 5150 cab for now and try to look around for some deals on Dual or Triple Recs, cause Im wanting to upgrade from my Single Rec for something with some more headroom, not that I dont like the SR, I love it for what I play, I just want something with a little more power. :D

idk if it helps, but the band RED plays rectifiers into splawn cabs and i think that they have a really nice tone.
