Source for empty cabs?

Anyone know a good source for cabinets w/o speakers? I have a pair of vintage Fender 12" speakers that the cones a torn just a bit & I'd like to have them reconed & put to good use. I checked Avatar's FAQ & they don't sell empty cabs.

German amp part suppliers like Tube Amp Doctor / TAD or Tube-Town also have empty cabs, so I guess that you'll find some in your country, too.

There are several "very worthy" cab builders out there. Kress,Mojotone to name a few.Do a Google serch for each(as I'm too lazy to post the web sites).
Kress and Mojotone do 'spot on" Marshall cab reproductions ,all with 13 ply marine birch sides,back and baffles.
Kress sells a 4x12 empty Marshall'ish cab in any color you want for about $ 350.00. Mojo is a bit more pricey.
Do this as well. Go to E-Bay,under amps, type in "4x12". Theres is a dealer that sells Mojo empty cabs at a really good "buy it now" price,($350.00) and shiping is like $50.00.

.......oh,by the way. Both builders do great repos on 2x12 cabs as well,especially Mojotone. I know your looking for "un" loaded but,,, Right now on E-bay I seen there is a Mojotone 2x12 loaded cab for sale and the bid is under $200 bucks. I typed in "2x12" under amplifiers in E-Bay and theres a good selection of empty cabs for sale. ****,theres a killer looking Mesa Recto 2x12 in saddle tan leather for $500.00.

Yeah, I did do a search for "cabinets" in the musical insturments section of ebay, & I came up with this

Avatar does sell empty cabs!

Edit: Take that back....they used to about a month ago....maybe if you call them, you can pull a deal with them. They really are great cabs!

Avatar has a note on their site saying they no longer sell empty cabs because they can't keep up with demand. I also see that they no longer carry the G410 cab either, I'm glad I got two of them when I did.
