This is a song that I did, using two different setups. The clean guitar part was recorded with my old (and now gone) Vox AD60vt with the acoustic simulator effect, and the overdriven sound was done with the Mesa Boogie studio preamp plugged into the effects return hole on the Vox ad60 (hadn't had the 50/50 at the time).

It's called Passing by and its like really laid back:)

Hope you like it. Here's the link to my soundclick page whre there are some more tunes, if you'll have the time to listen to them (which would b great:))

Ok I'll be honest .
Extremely boring. :(
Did you ever heard about other instruments such as drums, bass, keyboards etc ?
Studing is in need,really need.
I was honest so don't be angry . :D

A little to mellow for my tastes but over all good playing and tone.

The third track needs work. I found myself drifting listening to it.

18&Life is honest if nothing else and you did say "comment/bash." I hate to agree with him, but I think he's right on the addition of Drums, Bass, Keyboards.

I listen to every clip that people post, and regardless of playing ability, I respect the fact that people put them up here for people to listen too.

I know I suck, but I want my tone to sound good while stinking up the place. I appreciate when some one listens to one of my crappy youtube clips on this board and says "I see what your going for try this..."

So thank you. You never know, the next Petrucci, Rhoads, Eddie, SRV, or Dimebag, etc might be on this board.

It's a sad thing of life that I don't know anything about drums. basically that leaves me to work just on the guitars, that I do pretend to know at least a little bit. Anyway, the songs, other than Passing by, are all pretty old and with them so goes the quality of the recording and so on.
Yeah but I've been thinking about the same ting regarding the percussion thing... Have to learn how to be able to get some good drums in and stuff

Thanks for the comments.

pozdrav!

I hear the tone happening, but it's muddy and too bassy.. I like the melodies and i think the playing is also pretty good.. I don't mind the absence of bass and drums altho it would compliment a lot to the recording.. you can always do it in some software, like Cubase or something, there are some great sampled drumkits available, and really easy to use (like EZ Drummer, the name says it all  )

Pozdrav tudi tebi!

Thanks for the comment, I apreciate it. I have tried some stuff with programs like beatcraft and also ezdrummer, but i really lack in the theoretical department which would enable me to actually know what and why I will put in the song (especially for the drums section). I'm looking into that problem at the moment on the internet and am trying to score some good lessons that would give me a basic framework and understandig

Weren't you the guy who posted other people's clips under his own name?
Like you know what you're talking about

Well almost 16 years playing and working as a recording engineer must teach me something, don't you think ?

Absolutely, it taught you how to steal other people's work...

Well at least I grew up with my mistakes, you're still living in the past .
So you shrug it off as being a mistake.
Something done deliberate is not a mistake. You're still the same person, you only changed username.

Oh and I don't live in the past, I just don't forget, although I can imagine you hoped that the namechange would've given you a fresh start.
Any post by you will ring a bell that you're a thief of intellectual property and therefore untrustworthy and not to be taken seriously.

HAHA someone needs to say that to 90% of the bands out in the world today, I swear if I hear one more ripoff of a classic.......

Anyhow, the clean was very rhythmic and melodic, a lot of good things about it, something you'd hear on wood & steel. I think it would of been better without the adding the distorted guitar, kinda ruined the vibe. As far as the tonalities of the distorted guitar, it was just kinda plain, nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible. Reminded of something kenny wayne shepherd would of done. Overall- pretty nice

You mean it's taken all that time to get where are? :D

He he, honestly, you need to open up your mind at least a little 18&life. A real musician should be able to hear the good vibe
that's going on with Lifeseeker's stuff. It's not technically advanced, but I'd trade music for technology any day of the year.

P.S. I'm a technologist

Well you need to open your mind to learn that everything is based on PERSONAL TASTES.
If you heard good vibes from his music, good for you,I don't.
I'm open minded,I listen music from dean martin ,sinatra and barry manilow to dream theater and kamelot. What a huge range of styles.
So if I don't like something it means that I'm closed mind ???!! Not at all.
It means that I have my personal tastes as everybody here. :D

The thing with personal tastes is that they need to grow with time... Look beyond the style. Look into the person.

Again if I don't like something it means that I am closed mind ???!!!!
So do you like everything ?
From rap to classical there's nothing you don't like ?
Well if yes it means you don't have personal tastes so really it has to grow with you.
I don't like his music ,only because of that you said I'm closed mind ???
ONLY because of that ?????????????????????
Well what a good judge you are.
Just because you liked his music and CAPTURE the good vibrations I don't think you re open mind,I think we have different tastes, just it.

Man stop judging others taste.I'm not judging yours so please let people have their own opinions.
Peace. :D
