It's been a while for me with boogie. For a large portion of my playing career I used a 1991 MKiv , which was a mainstay for over 10 years. For whatever reason I then moved into the modded Marshall (Bogner, soldano, Friedman ) arena. In my boogie years I also played mk2c+ and various mk3. Loved them all.
Anyway , I've now sourced a used Jp2c that will be with me in just over the week. Having been in the boogie camp and now back in, I realise just how tight an amp they are and a different mid voicing. All of this is good but is there any way of getting some more sag to the sound. I'm not a speed picker , but love Sykes tone as a reference. Also, my experience of boogies was the ev12l, has anyone tried these with there Jp2c
Are there any more clips like the Flying V you tuber, which is more in the classic rock mode about as although it's petrucci voiced , boogies are far more flexible than that
Thanks in advance and can't wait for my new toy
