ok..i just noticed that, after playing for a while, volume starts to go down, then goes up again...then down..like a wave basicaly. any clue what that could be?

Tubes or dirty pots , effects loop mung ...

Clean those pots at least once a year .

Wiggle pre amp tubes . sockets get dirty . Filthy . Disgusting .

A combo collects more internal schmootz than a head .

A clean Boog is a happy Boog . :D

**** **** ****...i was told when i bought it ALL pots had been clean and all tubes were new.

Whenever I get new/old tube gear , before I plug it in I 'll pull the chassis and give it a look see .

Check for overheated components (discolored) , or any thing bulging (Cap's ) , Half- assed repairs or whatever .

Every thing can look good , but there can still be problems . New tubes have an annoying habit of going bad .

This aint the 70's or 80's . They built tubes to survive nuke strikes back then.
For real .. 8)

Try putting a patch cord in the loop before you panic. If it persists move on to pre tubes.

Are you using the effects loop? Wiggle the cables around in the effects send/return jacks. Same with the input and speaker jacks. Hell, might as well do 'em all.
DO NOT SQUIRT CLEANER, ETC., INTO THE GRAPHIC EQ. THIS WILL STRIP THE LUBRICANT FROM THE SLIDERS.
(Oops, excuse moi. Don't know what came over me!)

Right now i'm not using any FX so not using the FX Loop. cables are all band new. So gonna take the amp to the tech, drive 2 hrs back and forth again...AH...i hate wasting time like that..hehe.

Not gonna cost me anything at the tech since the amp is on a warranty and the tube as well. i bought it with written paper saying all tubes were new. Naturally he's tell me it might be my two recently boutht Thiele that might not have the proper calibrated 4ohm setting and it my have damaged the transormer...or something like that. i'm so not into that tech stuff..ahaha
