Hey all,

I'm curious and confused. Right now I am channel switching the Mark V via Line 6 M13 and Mini Amp Gizmo. If I have this running, can I still plug an external latching switch into the Ext. Switching input to use the solo boost?

The manual seems to contradict itself.

I would assume so. I externally switch solo boost on and off using my GCX.

you can't go through the amp gizmo to control that too? i thought that was one of the many controls it had (to cover all the functions of the mark v fs)?

or is it because you want to have a global ext. button on top of the m13 presets? i would think that changing the preset would cause you to lose whatever the the solo setting already was set to.

couldn't you just...try it?

You can, but it has to be programmed in. I can't on the fly add the boost feature a setting that doesn't have it. I want it for on the fly purposes. As the M13 only has 12 preset options per scene, I'd have to use up settings that have boost.

mm. i see. contact ron @ rjm and ask him about the best method to get around this.

i would've just dedicated a button for instant access to the boost, but i guess the m13 won't handle that....

I too have this setup and if you could post your outcome for the solo boost m13/ mini switcher/mkV set up it would be enlightning.

I just got that working on my GT-10 using an external CTL footswitch. I configured the system to send CC#93 MIDI Continuous Change values when CTL 3 is pressed (in toggle mode) which in turn toggle the num 6 switch on the minigizmo. You need to find that sort of action on your M13.
