Hi guys, new to board. Boogie Mark-llB player. (The one with original Altec). Wonderful amp. Owned since '82.
Recently purchased a LoneStar Special but need to sell for other equipment. (Amp is in excellent condition).

I really wish this was a regular Lonestar man. I'd be all over it. I'm in Baton Rouge too. :(
 
Hey Slim, Haven't actually played the regular Lonestar but
the LSS has mucho clean headroom at 30 and even 15 watt settings depending on how loud you you need to play. I find the 30 watt setting
preferable for that warm cleanness with edge. Then again this amp is very responsive to playing dynamics.
By the way I've listed the amp on Ebay.

Thanks for the info. I saw it on eBay. You'll sell it. It's a beautiful amp. I'd be afraid to play it. :lol:
