lol

I know, I know, not everyone can (or should be able to) afford it.

This was sold locally for $3900 cash within 3 days.

My fully loaded original Mark IIC++ should go for 6000 then ;-)
Not as much demand for the C++
They don't typically sell for as much as a fully loaded C+ would bring.

There is a finite number of "fully loaded" Mark IIC+ amps out there. Just like classic cars, the highly optioned ones are going for WAY more money.

exactly....

and, the holiest of grails are one of the original 12 IIC++ amps. not for the faint of heart or penny pinchers. the other unicorn amp is finding one of the wide IIC+ heads with presence on the front. just a few of them floating around that aren't at Metallica HQ. finding either of these for sale, expect the value to be around 7K.

cha ching, I have one of those......Don't forget the rare KDRG C+ or as some may know them as KARG before the simulclass "A" turned to "D''. AT least thats what Mike told me. Who would question him..

Yea, that one is not worth much.

I simply don't see any added value in a Coli. I don't get why some people assume just because it is a bigger amp, that it is automatically a better or more desirable amp.

Coli has its place, but a factory DRG IIC+ is the gold standard, and factory DRGX is the most desirable amp, period. Would I ever take KDRG over a DRG or DRGX? = NO.

I would, some day this will happen - Coli=Dumble.

I would disagree, just because they are limited run, doesn't make them Dumble.

Dumble, just like DRG IIC+ has its own following, while Coli does not and (if it hasn't developed one after 30 years) it never will.

The one that sounds the best is the most desirable. C+ what ever config...
