Wait the 2 months and place the order. Don't bother with the RK I. The II is a vast improvement.

The only way to get a RKII is to walk in to a guitar store and hope they have one in stock, order one or get one off of ebay.

I hate to say it, but don't get the RK I.... Although it is a GREAT amp, you'll probably eventually want the RKII because it'll kill you not to have it.... Trust me, I know!! And yes, the cleans are "that" much better and worth it to get the RKII.

I'd just order it, you've waited this long, what's another 2 months? It'll be worth the wait..... Or you could get out the areal phone book and start calling around to Boogie dealers within driving distance. I've seen one RK II on ebay, you may keep watching Ebay too.

Cascio Music in Milwaukee WI has a used but mint RK I 212 for $1700, it just came in last week.
