How do you know it was the 69th ever made? did you email boogie and they told you? My 187xx serial mark III Purple stripe should theoretically be from '86 and Mesa told me it would have left the factory in '89 or so. It is an '86 afterall (chassis date, circuit board date) but maybe both are right? (built '86, left factory '89? I think there'd be more demand than that for a short head mark 3 simulclass...)
