So did i just buy a mark IIc, or C+?

i just bought this on ebay.

he has it listed as a C, but the serial number and date are consistant with a c+.
it has a black dot above the power cord, and what looks to be the 100 tranny.
it also has "gain boost" over the volume knob, and not deep boost.

what do you guys think?

That's a IIC+. The IIC+ serial numbers started somewhere around 12300. That one is 12600. Great price on that one. DAMM HIM, he's screwing up the market. :evil:

One of my C+'s has a gain boost instead of pull deep and it's an original.. faceplate isn't a good way to tell.

Only way to tell is to do the loop test or to post gut shots for us.

So are you saying that Boogie was making the IIC and the IIC+ at the same time? Or they were making a few IIC's here and a few IIC+'s there? I was under the impression that once they started making the IIC+ that they stopped making any IIC's. Mmm, i guess i was wrong.

I'm actually glad that people aren't selling IIC+'s this cheap.
