Hi guys,

Has anyone used the Smooth and Slim effect piece from Aryan?
Can you comment on it and give us your feedback.
Is it worth it. I am trying to solve this problem. I live "clean distortion" I can't stand buzz and fuzz when you hit high distortion (you like it if you play metal) (I like distortion similar to Santana, distorted but smooth and not buzzy)
Is there a way to have a distorted signal without the fuzz/buzz a la dumble...

Thanks

I have had a smooth And slim for a few years. Yes it works and is worth the price. It isn't going to make your amp sound like a Dumble, you'll need a Dumble for that. What it will do is give you the option of playing louder w/o your speaker farting out. I use it on my MK II's and some Fender amps that can't handle loud volume w /bass response. I hope that this post helps you in your quest. :D

Thak you for the reply. I think I might get it.
(Boogiesbabies, yes, you are right it is a historically accurate fact and sorry for the typo)

I used to use one on a Dual Rec to keep the bottom tight. But my IIC+'s do that so I sold the DR. I did still keep the pedal. really cool unit- a keeper for me.
