Hello,
I wanted to use the single recto 50 as a power amp for my processor. The manual says tha I have to put a "dummy jack" or just a "small patch chord" in the effect send loop. I know to use the head as a power amp I have to plug into the fx return. It sounds really good by plugging in a cable into the fx send.
Can I cut the dry signal wire to the "mix knob"? Will this be the same as a dummy plug or a chord into the effects send?
I am pretty sure if I cut the dry signal wire it will make the loop into "Series loop" and I can still use the mix knob. If i solder the other 2 wires together the mix knob is out all together.
any help or comments would be great!
(I know that the 4cm is the best for processors. I just want to mess around with the preamps in the processor and use the recto as a power amp only!)
