I have a Single Rectifier Solo Head
The Gain Channel has a fizzy loose sound. It cleans up a bit with a Boss SD-1 in front of it but I would like to just plug in and have a nice tight sound.

I have talked to Voodoo Amps about doing the standard mod but they are super busy and probably locked down (Corona Virus)

So I took to researching mods myself. I have a JCM 800 clone I built so I am not a stranger to the soldering iron or circuitry and components.
But I am new to PCBoards

So I was hoping for a little guidance and advice on making some of these mods

The Serial number is S50-00*** (greater than 900 less than 1000)

The board says 1998
REC 50E (revision E?)

Im going to try to upload some pictures.

So heres a link to some pics

1. board markings
2. board from birds eye view
3. close up with some some capacitors circled. Are these the cathode biasing caps that everyone changes?
