please post any gut shots you have or can take of your Single/Dual/Triple rectifiers - I'm especially interested in the Single rectifier. Wanna see what makes them tick!!
I have some shots, though with an old school camera, you know the kind with an actual film in it. When I have shot the entire film, have developed it, scanned it and haven't forget it, I will post them here.
Cheers buddy, I'm looking forward. It'll help me to build my recto, I need to look at the component placement to figure out how Mesa has minimised noise.
Ok, I got the film developed, shouldn't had the film laying in my drawer for two years, because the quality of the film turned out not so good. Besides I messed a lot with filters this time, so bad quality pictures. Oh and what about the colors ? it is a black and white film, it's supposed to have no colors.
The picture is taken of a Rectoverb combo. So mind the mirrored lay out with respect to the head version. The power connector and foot switch connector is located at the bottom and not at the back side.
On the third picture I have places some of the names of the connectors and the Power transformer and the Output transformer (PT and OT) but don't ask me about the third and smaller transformer located near the PT.
Can you save these pictures ? Because I don't have much space to share, so these pictures will go down the mninute I need space and that is frequently.
thanks chennie, the other one near the PT is the reverb transformer. Even though they're not so clear, I don't have gut shots of a Rectoverb so I saved them.
The folder of Mesa products 2004 or 5 had a gut shot of a triple.
There was an article, in German, about this guy who build a dual from scratch. Cant find it anymore though.
