The width seems to be pretty close to that of older Marks. Has anyone looked into swapping old into new or new in old? I have neither, just curious after spending some time looking at all these different amps.
Silly question: Will the Mark V:35 fit in older head shells?

I tried to mount my Mark Five 35 into a Mark III rack mount kit and it did not fit. I emailed Mesa and they said it takes a modified JP-2C rack kit. I don't know for sure but i don't think it would.

Thanks for the feedback, phreeman123! I reached out to Mesa as well and got similar information, a bit deeper although the width is close. Bummer. It seems like the Mark V:35 is the closest to the old stuff but not quite close enough!
