Should I trade a .22+ combo for a .50 Caliber head?

He said the reverbs broken on the .50 Caliber. I currently run my .22 through an extension recto closed back cab. Should I mess with the trade for the few extra watts? What's a new reverb unit cost? It could just be his V4 tube also. Will have to see. Thanks in advance. -B

Is it a .50 Caliber + or 'non-plus'? The + sounds quite different to the 22 due to the 6L6 power stage. Better cleans and more bottom end, but less aggressive han the 'non-plus'.

Cheers!

I have the plus. And he does not. I think mine's in a little better condition w/ working reverb. I'll keep it. There's a .50 caliber on CL now for $575 comes with Celestion 30 Combo-cabinet AND head cabinet. Sure do like the sound of my .22 with a closed recto cab extension.

Thanks for the heads up on the variation in the .50. Best, -B
