settings for mark I and mark III

Hello fellow mark owners, any tips on getting the best fender type clean tones on either of these? I am already getting some pretty good tones, I just want to see your take on it. And I have consulted the manuals, and turned a lot of knobs, pushed,pulled etc.

For Fendery cleans:
6L6s, not EL-34s.
Jensen speakers (C12K), not Celestions.
Keep the pre-amp clean, and the master up, for max headroom.

 

[Kinx]

mk I fender cleans:

input 2, volume 2 about 4, treble 10, bass 4, middle 3

 

[King Tone]

Those settings are very similar to what I have tried, except treble around 6-7. I have the presence on the back on 10. I got good results running the volume 2 around 2...even cleaner, and the master higher.
