Serial Number Question...

Does anyone know what year this Quad serial number (Q1451) is from?
Unfortunatly, Boogie is closed on Friday so I figure maybe someone on here will know, if not no biggie... as always thanks for the help!

Ha well I was thinking that was wrong. I don't have the unit yet, I asked the seller for the s/n so yeah...

no maybe you are not wrong maybe i´m joking :lol:
these days I´m working a lot with several transistors and that numbers become into a puzzle on my mind that origins a transistors number though
maybe I must to get so far from lsd :shock:

Ha yeah, I guess I will have to wait to actually get my hands on the amp. I e-mailed the seller a few times for the s/n and and when he finally got back to me I was thinking the "q" was a bit suspect...

the Q is good it is the first letter of quad, boogie always starts the serial number with the first letter of the model amp

My quad is an 1988 model serial: Q1190
i'm guessing yours is a 90's model.

Mine says Q1025, on the reverb tank inside it says "checked 5/11/89"
