Hey guys/gals,

I'm not to smart when it comes to speakers, so here's my question:

I have a MkV combo and I was wondering if it is possible to run another 112 external cabinet at the same time as the one in the combo. The thing is I wanna run a Greenback (20/25W)...is there anything wrong with doing this?

So, can I run the C90 + GB at the same time without blowing up my baby??

Thanks,
George

It's not a problem. Just read the manual to learn about Ohms--you need to have the correct impedance. You should be able to make it work.

If you run the Mark in 10w mode...no problem....crank it !
At 45w.....tread lightly with the greenback.
At 90w....you'll nuke it(greenback) into meltdown, even at a "fairly" low volume.

Hmmm, sounds like I'd do better (i.e have less chance of destroying speakers) if it was a 212 of Greens...anybody know a 212 cabinet that is the same width (22.5") as the combo??

You'd have to have a vertical 2x12 to be the same width as the the MV. 2 - 12 inch speakers makes 24 side by side, not allowing for an actual enclosure.

Mesa makes a vert 2x12, i dont know of others though.
