I have a Bogner Cube 1x12 and I'd love to run my Mark V combo through that to keep the amp sounding as tight as possible (although tbh I'm not sure I get all the guys saying the amp is lacking low end or tightness, I have run my JP7, tuned to Drop Ab, through it a few times at volumes above bedroom/apartment levels and it retains the bottom end very well!) however the output on the Mark V is 8 ohm and the stock Celestion V30 in the Bogner cab is 16 ohm. I always forget, is it a safe mismatching going lower impedence into a higher impedence speaker or is it the other way around? If I go 8 ohm Mesa output into the 16 ohm Bogner cab will I end up with trouble later? :? Thanks all! :D

Plugging a 16 OHM Cab/Speaker into your 8 OHM jack (amp) is a SAFE MISMATCH.

You can explore further safe mismatch options if you refer to the Mark V manual near the end, it covers several options.
