Hi
Im looking for a unit to channel switch my MKIV.
Just wondering how the Rockman Octopus would work with the MKIV
does anyone here use one & are they compatible?

I use one with my Mark IIB and it works great, channel switching, reverb on and of and Eq on and off. And does all of the channel switching on another amp also at the same time. Awesome piece of equipment.

Should work great on your amp.

Apparently the Octopus does a great job with the Mark
IV. The guy that I got mine from was using one for lack of the FU-3. When I got to play it before I bought it he had it connected. I chose not to buy it with the amp though it seems pretty versatile. I opted for the FU-3 and ordered it from Mesa instead.

Another choice would be the Peavey Midi Pro - the benefit over the Octopus is that it has 4 A/B switches built into it, and it is a full rack space. Found on Ebay for +/- $100.
