Don't waste your time, and please learn from my mistakes. the best cabs on the market, especially for your roadster is hands down without any competition, a mills acoustics. I've been through allot of cabs, cables pickups..... if you want to save yourself some money in the long run, go the Mills route and don't look back!

Here you go..

thanks. gonna check it out but i dont believe that Mills can be found in Sweden.
what kind of elements is it. v30 or???

dude that looks like an exact replica of a mesa 2x12, as for a 4x12 its hard to beat a recto cab! he must be "mills"

Just because you love the cabs does not mean everyone else will, music highly varies by taste. Most people love the V30's, however I have two friends that swear by the C90's, just comes down to taste.

I've got two of em - a slant and a straight. They're pretty sweet alright. Probably prefer (the the sound of the) straight if only using one but the two together are ferocious altogether.....

I have that setup, with a straight 4X12 Stiletto cab...

Definitely prefer it to the Recto cab I used to have, but that's cause the store at that time didn't have a Stiletto one, so I took the oversized one for a while, and then the store allowed me to swap...

Couldn't be happier really... :)

ok but how does it sounds compared to the recto cabs. can it handle the bass frq??

The Recto cab just had too much low low end going for me, especially in modes such as the tweed mode on channel 1. Some might dig that tone, but I just find that it had too much low end, and sounds somewhat midscooped in nature as well...

The Stiletto cab does have enough low end. In fact, I find it more natural sounding, and also tighter sounding as well...

I run my roadster through 2 Stiletto 4x12s, one with V30s, the other with G12K100s.

Killer setup...I push the front end with a boost and run an EQ in the loop for my METAL  tones, but the cabs handle the roadster just fine.

The difference isn't in the speakers its in the design. The internal Afterburner baffle thats a huge part of the design plays into why Mills cabs sound so good and stand apart from any other cab, at least the ones i've played (and i've played all the major ones). I will tell you i was a bit wary at first after reading Fixxer's posts, but i took the plunge and couldnt be happier. BTW, i was coming from a Roadster 2x12 and a Basson 2x12 which up until i got the Mills cab was a lethel combo.

Trust me its not even close to a "replica" aside from the front view (which in many cases most cabs will look like each other). The difference is in the design with the Mills having an interior ported baffle (Afterburner) that kills standing waves... those standing waves are what cause low end mud and in many cabs (Mesa included) can kill articulation with the Bass up too high on the amp. Because of the Afterburner baffle I've been able to run my Bass higher without losing an ounce of clarity. That added bass gives more depth and power, which in my book is a huge plus.

I will never put down Mesa cabs as they are some of the industries best but for a recto, i have not heard a cab yet to this day that can do what the Mills cabs do. Again it has nothing to do with looks or speaker selection, its in the design.

I agree man. As a man that owns 3 different recto's and has more cabs than I care to admit, the design and sound out of my Mills cabs with my Mesa heads simply kills.

The Mesa cabs are nice, but for the money these are the best things going for any Mesa owner.

I don't hype allot of stuff, but had I bought these cabs earlier, I could have saved some cash.

Im currently using a stiletto 412 cab with my roadster and I love it! The bass is much more controlled and tighter than a standard recto cab, I find this cab really helps pronounce the mid range frequencies, especially when matched with the V30s. Just my 2 cents tho!

ill try to get one then. they are cheaper than the recto cab here in sweden.strange?

I'd recommend buying from gak.co.uk. Way cheaper than thomann with the sterling being bad.....
