Roadster: same headshell as Dual Recto?

Have a Triple Recto but it's not working for me. However I love the headshell.

Thinking about trying a Roadster and if that works out, mount that into my triple recto shell.

Am I crazy?

I know that the Roadster is noticeably larger than my Rev G. Dual Rec.

My guess is the same holds true for the Triple, regardless of model.

I could be wrong but the Roadster chassis appears to be the same size (or very close if it isn't) as the Dual or Triple. The Roadking II definitely looks like it has a larger chassis/headshell though.

You could buy a replacement headshell from Mesa for the Roadster with Triple cosmetics if they weren't interchangeable as an additional option.

Nope My ROADSTER Is deeper than A Dual very much so!!

Interesting, how much deeper is it? Just curious. I used to have a few Dual Rec's along time ago and now a Roadster but never had them side by side.

just order the treadplate ..... i did in black the panel thats on your amp now is held on with screws and the new treadplate just sticks on with two sided tape

Just order it with the treadplate instead of the stock black half and half look. I dont believe they charge much if anything.
