Roadster/Roadking, tighter sound then the Triple Rec?

What's up guys, got a question here (again!!) The Roadster and Roadking, are they tighter then the Triple rec? As some of you may know i'm having the problem that the triple rectifier just isn't tight enough for me, nice low end but not tight. What is the roadster and roadking like??? Metallica esque tone is what I'm after, just a bit more low end.

They are all rectifiers, they all have the same or very similar preamp voicing. Get that MKIV man, moving from a TR to a Roadster/RK for Metallica tones is a waste of time.
