Hi, new to the board...just thought I'd show my Roadster in action. Not the higher-gain traditional recto application that rectos are known for...but I like the recto "edge" that I get from my roadster, and can apply it to classic rock covers, without need for any effects/boost pedals...along w/my single-coil strat.

Just a different view for any poential new roadster owners out there wondering about the roadster's versatility. Thanks...

Damn man that's some SCREAMIN' lead tone you got there. Nice work.

nice tones you have with your roadster.
what are your settings on "black magic woman"?

Thanks all...I like CH.3 the best for leads, gain at about 1-2 o'clock, master at about 11 o'clock, bass at about 10 oclock, mid & treble just over 12 oclock, 100W, recto tracking, vintage mode. I actually really love humbuckers too thru the roadster, tried out a LP custom and LOVED it...but it'll be a while before I can save enough for that guy. For now, that black strat is an Eric Clapton signature, and it has active pups, which help drive the amp alot better (especially for leads). I also have a 57 strat I love, and its cleans are to die for, but when I play live, it sometimes just doesnt cut thru the mix enough.
